Jurassic 5 ft. Dave Matthews - “Work It Out”
How did I go so long passing these guys on my iPod list? I like a lot hip-hop and rap, but I always listen to it a few times and put it away for such a long time. I guess that’s kind of a good thing though. It gives days like these more pep in the step by coming across some music that, although old, still fresh.
Dave Matthews sings on this one. He sings “the hook” or whatever its called these days. That’s kinda cool.
Well anyway, J5 is really fun to listen to. Most of there stuff is pretty good-natured.
COOL FACT: Jurassic 5 was the first hip-hop act to ever perform on the Warped Tour. As you could see, it sparked the beginning of what would be quite common these days on the tour. Also, this attempt to blend styles by Warped Tour, I think, opened the eyes of a lot of kids that normally wouldn’t give the genre a chance.
Even so, J5 didn’t get very big. That’s a shame. They’re good at what they do. SO ENJOY!
