I Tube, YouTube, We All Scream for Ice Cream!
I’ve got a confession. Well 4 confessions:
- I laughed at the title of this blogdacious entry. By myself. I laughed as I typed it.
- I love YouTube.
- I like watching people’s video blogs. People I don’t even know. I’m incredibly interested in what strangers have to say within a 4 to 6 minute time span.
- I want to make my own, but I’m too shy.
Would you guys think that’s gay? I mean, I know you’d probably tell me it was gay and laugh at me and all, but I know you would watch every single one of them. You’d all be subscribers.
You know, I thought people would think this Tumblog was gay, but I got a few people on the bandwagon as well as a few more thinking about it.
Should I just do it? Should I shoot for the stars?!
If I start vlogging (that’s what the YouTubers that I watch call it) will you do it too? Let’s all make a pact. We all start a YouTube channel. If you wanna do it but don’t have a camera, I’ll work on getting you one. They’re cheap these days I think.
Everyone on YouTube seem like they’re having so much fun. Just BS’ing and shit. They’re all like… friends with each other. The internet is a fucking drug man. It’s so easy to get in touch with anyone. Even people you don’t know. I bet if I tried hard enough, I could probably make a friend in some place like Germany or something within 24 hours.
What ever happened to the good ol’ days when you made friends in school or little league? The days before cellphones when you went out and rang your friend’s doorbell at 9 AM on Saturday morning? When drinking wasn’t the funnest thing to do. When it wasn’t even an option because you were like 10.
